Accounting Manager
- SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages all general accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and billing staff and activities. Oversees reporting to US from Belgium, Italy and Singapore locations. Responsible for budgeting for Tape, Belgium, Italy and Singapore.
- ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB
•Establishes and maintains sound accounting controls for all revenues, expenses, disbursements, and receipts by adherence to Corporate and divisional accounting policies and procedures.
•Ensures timely preparation of accurate monthly financial statements for U.S. and overseas locations by overseeing and/or reviewing all general accounting activity in the general ledger.
•Prepares various exhibits, analyses, schedules, journal entries, tax packages, and Corporate reports for all ABI locations.
•Coordinates budgeting inputs and information from all ABI locations during Preliminary and Final Profit Plan.
•Monitors Freight costs.
•Perform internal audits and write-ups as needed.
•Monitors cash for all ABI companies.
•Reviews monthly reporting and account analysis and suggests accrual adjustments to VP of Finance.
•Ensures that all quarterly and annual financial workpapers are complete, accurate, and timely for all ABI locations, and are forwarded to Corporate headquarters according to schedule.
•Reviews accounts payable disbursements (ACH/check) for all vendor/supplier payments, expense reimbursements, commissions, and customer rebates.
