It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved CEO and Chairman, Roger Marcus. Roger dedicated nearly six decades to American Biltrite and to the flooring industry. Beginning his journey in 1967 as a young sales representative, he was eager to contribute to the family legacy. In 1983, Roger became CEO, later assuming the role of Chairman. Under his leadership, American Biltrite evolved while always staying true to its values of quality, integrity, and innovation.

 

Roger’s influence was felt throughout the industry as he served as Chairman of the Floor Covering Industry Foundation (FCIF) committee. He was honored at the 2023 FCIF Gala for his lifetime of service and impact. His warmth and ability to connect with people defined his leadership. As we mourn this tremendous loss, we also celebrate Roger’s remarkable life and legacy. His passion and commitment will remain the backbone of American Biltrite.
